ADCAMAT PPA-14 condensate delivery pump

The ADCAMAT PPA, made of carbon steel (stainless steel on request), is recommended for transferring high temperature liquids, such as condensates, oils and others, at higher elevation or pressure.

Under certain conditions, it can drain a closed vessel under vacuum or pressure. The pump can be operated with steam, compressed air or gas and can be used to lift any type of non-corrosive liquids.

  • No electrical requirements.
  • Duplex package design.
  • Stainless steel construction.
  • Level indicator.
  • Stroke counter.

For lifting condensate or hot and cold liquids.

(Carbon steel version is sandblasted, metallised and painted black).

DN 80 x 50.

Flange EN1092-1 PN16. Special flanges on request.

Female thread ISO 7/1 Rp (BS21).

Horizontal installation.

See IMI - Installation and maintenance instructions.

The liquid enters the pump by gravity through an inlet non-return valve which lifts a float which, at the upper limit of its stroke, opens the feed valve, allowing steam or compressed air to enter the pump body. The pressure in the pump increases until it is sufficient to overcome the back pressure.

The pressurized liquid opens the outlet check valve and discharge begins. When the float reaches the lower minimum level, it closes the vapor or compressed air supply valve and opens the vent, allowing the liquid to refill the pump.

Since the amount of liquid discharged on each stroke is known, the total volume flowing during a given period of time can be calculated by counting the number of cycles during that period. For this purpose, a special counter is available which is screwed onto a threaded connection on the top cover of the pump. This counter registers the number of pumping strokes, allowing for
